Born To Be Wild

It was back in 30th March 2008, in early lazy Sunday morning, three guys who barely knows each other came together to their first ever paintball tournament. It was Johor Bahru's Southern Xtreme 3on3 SUNDAY MATCH created specifically for Division 4 (Rookies/Newbies) Players.


Few weeks back before the Sunday Match 1st tournament, SiR Aji initiated a small paintball team. It took him weeks to search for team members. He got a hold on SiR Din, who he got to know very briefly from a visit to a neighbour's open house party. SiR Din shows a lot of enthusiasm and excitement in joining SiR Aji. Few days before the tournament, SiR Din brought together with him his futsal member, SiR Azli. We have officially formed a 3 members Paintball Team when we register our team for the tournament somewhere in middle of March 2008.

SiR Din and SiR Azli get a chance to hold a marker for the first time the night before the tournament. There, we learnt about the basic paintballer's personal skill on marker holding, safety pins function, cocking the mech marker. We got a chance to shoots a few rounds to a still target pan and also we did the field walk to get to know the layout and our position for next day.

Sunday came, the heat building up so fast. We faught the day and the tournament with all our guts and glory. We managed to get second place from the last! It shows the total noobs in us. It doesnt hinder us from continuing our pursuit to excellent. We know SHOOTin RAGE will fight forever.
